My name is Barbara Hazel and my husband Bill and I have lived in the FSNA neighborhood for eight years. Previously we were Broad Ripple villagers for thirty-four years where we raised our five children. I worked part-time at Bishop Chatard High School from 1987 until 2009 and am now enjoying retirement. Reading, gardening,IndyCar races and being with my five grandaughters are some of the things I enjoy. I am also involved in several ministries at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Life is good!!
Kathie grew up in the Meridian -Kessler area and lived in that area for most of her married life. Kathie and her husband moved to FSNA in 2000 because of the large, beautiful properties. They especially love the mature trees and wildlife. Kathie graduated from college in the 60's, married Jim a week later and taught school until the first of their 4 children were born. She spent the 70's & 80's as a high school CYO moderator, treasurer, secretary & President of a Co-op Nursery school and all round grade/high school volunteer. Kathie returned to work at Bishop Chatard High School as the Bookstore Manager, retiring after 15 years in the early 2000's. She still works 2 days/week at BCHS, and also works at the polls and as a volunteer for various Republican candidates. For fun, she spends time with her 11 grandchildren (all who live within 15 min.) and reads mysteries.
